Oldtimer - Almost done by R-a-z-z
Oldtimer - Almost done
Thus far 11 months have passed, so my hope is 12 months passed and its fully running, and finetuning has been done. I busted the clutch bell on the first engine, bearings in the engine casing were totally impossible to detach. Bike is from 1964 all parts are original.

Tons of setbacks along the way. Mostly because I had little exp with this. Engine appears to have good compression, but it has yet to get fired up. Every nut, bolt, sprocket, casing, screw, spoke, tank etc.. - it all has been derusted, sanded. exhaust was rinsed using causic soda? The stuff for cleaning sinc pipes. Seat is new the old one crumbled by touch.

Olny oddities are a big digit VDO/speedo with kmh/mph + milage/km counter and a watch. Just the basics. An old type dynamo has been attached on the front fork since bikes from this era rarely had batteries, nor needed any. Electric system is powered by a 17watts Bosch magneto. But the dynamo is a basic bycycle 5v 6w generator connected to a usb switchbox, which atm is further connected to a lithium battery charger. its has a switch for regular bulb type light also, but it cant handle both usb and light simultaneously. Pegs by front wheel is for resting on long trips.

Flaws: MANY lol...gastank has dents, paintcoat is shitty here and there. Rear wheel is not 100%straight and has a slight wobble. its visible but isnt noticed.

It runs dual chained and i need the 2nd chain asembleb and adjusted. Then comes finetuning and testing. Last thing; it runs on old type castrol oil mixed manually with octane 95 directly in tank or in a jerrycan and so. Modern gassoline additives and ethanol will ruin the engine over time because of the internal lubrication system using mineral oil only.

Pic of the bike when i got it can be found in the gall.

Makes me choke just looking at. Oddly those windmills appear to me most evil looking. Like shredders or something :fear Taken by the beachside........naturally

Project Pinlock Part 2 by R-a-z-z
Project Pinlock Part 2
CONTINUED...

Picking it: Had to keep track of combos while doing this. Like mentioned. Not particularly complex on paper considering the amount of lock combinations. After a while manually going through each combo, checking for the success combo, while keeping track systematically I said fuck this..and got grumpy lol...but then I remembered this text/coding tool online making itererations? Well...dunno the proper word for it, but you pucnh in values and this online texttool makes out a list with all possible combos. Still had to do this manually but now I had an orderly list. Luckily murphys law failed, so the correct combo was NOT on the last page :D. On page 2 it made a nice "CLICK". Willy was free once again :DD

Anywho pics above show my failed DIY attempt and the printed combos from the texttool thing. Think 12-15 pages with combo rows.

Thanks for reading, in case you did ^_^

Project Pinlock Part 1 by R-a-z-z
Project Pinlock Part 1
Late last summer I began restoring an old 1964 bike. Quite stained and rusted yet had no tear-throughs and amazingly still fully functional...anyway its taking forever...had i known...part of this taking forever is this oldschool pinlock. Not knowing the unlocking code i have had to pick it. An old friend knew how to pick these, so I applied this technique with no success after aLOT pilfering.

They have I, O and N (in, out, neutral) setting each, but has to be combined correctly obviously to unlock the thing.  Not alot of combos on paper. Practically attempting this, takes time...no complexity to it, but the concentration wears on you, requires notetaking, keeping track etc..

Usually the pins often used, those unlocking the the thing will slide inside the slots far more fluently making fully sense. Problem is that this bike and its pinlock are OLD, greasy, rusty, sanded...so is was total crap to get working...

Interests
..that covereth.

Forgive me for the soon-to-be-following and exeedingly foul words. They are however a perfect fit for whom, and to whom alone, they do apply. Not an excuse for spewing like Cpt. Haddock...but still here goes:

To him. The king troll. The anointed Cherub that covereth. Satan. Along with his tag Lucifer and all other funnynames he has, to him I say this:

Smoke your own cock like a fat Cuban cigar. Then fuck off to hell.

Oh noeeesss...I'm ok really ;D No, Really. But then not, yet still I am :P I get ruffed for this. He can still piss off. Can't help it...not with this for some reason. Not interested in doing so either for reasons I don't understand and never will.

The I'm Ok thing...likely not ok by too many standards I'm certain ;D But that's ok also. Who really cares...?

The thing is, he needs to know you know ;D With two middlefingers and such. Being wack as he is. For the wack principles of the very essence of him, by which he moves along like a coward in the shades.

Love, Faith, Truth, Mercy and Charity and all that is truly good comes from the LORD GOD alone. To Him the only way is the LORD Jesus Christ. None, none other, no other way and no other thing will ever make it happen.

As for the foul language...it's FOUL, NASTY and UN-GOOD and to my own account entirely. I can say but this, about that:

If a perfect sunrise is like a purified visual display of beauty...

...then Satan is a can of dungs'n'flies lying in the shades. He's a shit. Shit belongs to him. So does shitty words. And words full of shit.
